My food & philosophy

I take inspiration from ingredients around me and gather the best of the season, preparing it with a gentle hand, often evoking holiday flavours for meals of comforting informality.

Here in East Sussex I am so well supported by local livestock farmers, artisan dairies, vegetable and fruit growers. I am close to the coast for the daily catch of fresh fish and seafood.

I have always run my business with minimum waste in mind, recycling and reusing, using suppliers with similarly strong ecological principles.
